A convenient strategic location

The Hotel Cristoforo Colombo is in the heart of Rome’s EUR business district, at number 710 Via Cristoforo Colombo, just a few metres away from the Palazzetto dello Sport (the former PalaLottomatica) and well-connected to the old city centre; a great location for both tourists and business travellers visiting Rome.
The hotel is close to the GRA ring road (Grande Raccordo Anulare) and easy to get to from both of Rome’s airports: Fiumicino and Ciampino.
Next to the hotel there is the big new shopping centre Euroma 2, open all day, and during their stay guests can enjoy all the attractions in the EUR district, where it is possible to take a pleasant walk around the lake, visit museums or go shopping.

To get to the Hotel Cristoforo Colombo by car, take the Grande Raccordo Anulare (GRA) and then take exit 26 Via Cristoforo Colombo, towards Rome.
If you arrive in Rome by train, get to the Termini subway station and take Line B, direction Laurentina. Get off at the "EUR Fermi" stop and then take a bus – numbers 709, 700 or 70 – to Via Cristoforo Colombo.
If you arrive at Rome’s Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino International Airport, you can either take the "Leonardo Express" train directly to Termini Station, after which you follow the directions in the previous section, or take the local train to Ostiense and then take the subway and a bus as indicated above.

EUR is Rome’s business and commercial district, but it also an important trade fair centre for conferences and conventions, as well as home to major events such as the increasingly prestigious Formula E championship for electric-powered race cars.
But this area of Rome has much more to offer, from museums to fine examples of rationalist architecture, for example: the Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana (also known as the “Square Colosseum”), the Museum of Roman Civilization, the Museum of Prehistory and the Palazzo delle Esposizioni.
In the district itself, there is also the characteristic “EUR lake”, an artificial lake that you can take pleasant walk around. Also nearby, there is the PalaLottomatica, a sports arena that is the main venue for big concerts.

A unique stay in the centre of Rome!
